Hypnotherapy is a technique that uses hypnosis (a state of focused attention) in combination with various therapies (cognitive behavioral based) to create perspective shift away from what does not support the individual and toward one that does. It works closely with the subconscious mind to create these effects quickly and long lasting. Regarding Obesity, Hypnotherapy aims to reframe unsupportive thoughts around best weight and reframe/remove/reset triggers. Some studies have shown that when combined with other supports, Hypnotherapy can significantly improve weight management experience and results towards a best weight that supports the individual fully. This course will prepare nurses with a better understanding of the science behind the practice.


Hypnotherapy as an Intervention for Obesity:

This course is approved for 1 Nursing Contact Hour. You must complete the module to get your certificate. You will have a 10 question comprehensive post test at the end. You must acheive a passing score of 70%. You can retake the test as many time as you want. Remember, each course has a PDF download and questions are based on the the content in the PDF.
