Kristen’s professional experience includes working as a RN for over 20 years in pediatrics, med-surg, telemetry, and intensive & coronary care areas; and she is currently a full-time cardiac and ICU nurse practitioner. She has also worked as a collegiate adjunct professor and has been a nurse educator for her entire career. Kristen is currently triple certified with critical care clinical certifications, along with her nurse practitioner; and prides herself in working with critical care and progressive care nurses at the bedside and sitting for these certification exams every 3 years. Her lectures focus on various evidence-based subject matter with varying topics, but mostly on the current guidelines and evidence that critical care nurses need to know. She travels around the country with MED-Ed preparing nurses for certification. Kristen has been published three times on evidence based improvement projects & was the lead writer for her unit’s Beacon Award received four times from AACN. Kristen has spoken at the national level in May 2015 & 2017 for the American Association of Critical Care Nurses on targeted temperature management and analyzing the laboratory data on diagnosing infection.

Dr. Damaris is the founder/owner of Mindfulcomforts.com- an Integrative Telehealth medical concierge practice in NJ/NY.  Rutgers Family Nurse Practitioner currently practices in the Emergency Room, Urgent care and in her business. Her Doctoral work focused in integrative health and mindfulness techniques for anxiety and stress reduction for nurses, healthcare professionals, and with the use of patient care. Over 15 years in the medical field with most of those years in Nursing I am very Passionate about Mindful Life Investment and Integrative Health. She has years of experience in the medical field from areas of military, trauma, rehabilitation, college health, community health pediatrics. A US Navy Veteran served in the Global War on Terrorism in the military for almost six years and received a Navy Achievement Medal. Additionally, she studies integrative health to incorporate and facilitate her practices of Holistic modalities, in Yoga Therapy, meditation, and breathing with patient care, as a Board Certified Holistic Nurse and as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Terrence Started his career after college in Wall Street where is worked for 15 years. He decided to change careers and went back to school for respiratory therapy. Terrence has been in the field of Respiratory therapy since 1992. He is formerly the Education Coordinator of University Hospital (formerly UMDNJ) in Newark New Jersey since June 2000 and retired from the position after 25 years in September 2017. He is an expert in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. He has extensive knowledge in speaking at conferences locally and nationally. He is the owner of two companies that offer continuing education to nurses, respiratory therapist, and other health care practitioners (A & T Respiratory Lectures LLC and ATECAM LLC). He has been practicing Ayurvedic medicine for many years and obtained a Master’s of Science in Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the American College of Health Sciences of Portland Oregon. He has extensive speaking knowledge on nutrition, herbal medicine, medical cannabis, and Aromatherapy. Terrence experience in both traditional medicine and integrative medicine. He utilizes his experience in traditional medicine to critique evidence-based practices in integrative holistic medicine.
